We’ll start our journey early in the morning, leaving the bustling city of Fes behind. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style architecture and cool climate. Next, we continue our journey to the Cedars forest, where we’ll have the chance to see the Barbary macaque monkeys. We’ll stop for lunch in Midelt, a town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas mountains. In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Merzouga and prepare for our camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a scenic camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes to a desert camp just in time to watch the spectacular sunset. Experience traditional Moroccan hospitality with a delicious dinner at the camp and spend the night in comfortable Berber tents under a star-filled sky.

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara, a magical experience you won’t want to miss. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we begin our journey back to Fes. Ride camels back to Merzouga village, where our vehicle will be waiting. We’ll take a different route back to Fes, allowing you to see more of the beautiful Moroccan landscape. Enjoy the changing scenery from the desert to the mountains and valleys. We’ll stop for lunch along the way to break up the journey. We expect to arrive back in Fes in the early evening, where our unforgettable 2-day Sahara Desert tour concludes.
