Spend a day exploring Essaouira from Marrakech! We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am. First, we’ll drive through the Haouz plains and stop in Chichaoua village for a coffee break. Along the way, we’ll pass through an Argan tree forest, where you might see goats climbing trees – great for some unique photos! Then, we’ll head to Essaouira.

In Essaouira, our first stop is the harbor with its fishing port and old Portuguese fortifications. You'll see medieval war cannons facing the Atlantic Ocean. Next, we'll explore the Medina, the old city, with its well-preserved fortifications from the 18th century. We'll visit La Scala, a major landmark built to defend against sea attacks, Bab Laalouj (one of the main gates), and the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter. You'll also find lots of art, galleries, and souvenir shops along the way. For lunch, choose a local café for delicious seafood. After lunch, we'll visit a Kasbah known for its military history. If you love the beach, take a stroll along Mogador's sandy shores. You can relax, watch kitesurfers and windsurfers, or even try it yourself! Finally, we'll head back to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
